Wavelink has announced it has sold its 5000th Polycom KIRK DECT system in Australia and New Zealand.
Ilan Rubin, managing director, Wavelink, said, “With a range of interfaces to telephony platforms including analogue and IP using SIP, system sizes ranging from two to more than 4,000 users and handsets for virtually every application, Polycom KIRK DECT solutions deliver wireless extensions to meet any organisations’ needs.
We put 5,000 M&M’s in a container just to show how many hospitals, hotels, retail stores and factories are actually using KIRK DECT systems.
“This milestone reinforces Polycom KIRK DECT as a leader in the adjunct wireless telephony market. Its success can largely be attributed to its flexibility and broad range of applications, its ability to operate in environments ranging from offices to hospitals and factories, and to provide wireless extensions to virtually any PABX or IP voice platform.”
Polycom KIRK DECT systems increase mobility of the work force and expand access to core telephony features for all staff in industries such as retail, manufacturing, hospitality, education and healthcare.
KIRK users include the Coles Group, Carlton & United Beverages, St George Public Hospital, Amcor, Warragamba Dam, Burswood Casino and Marriott Hotels.
