Device Groups

Devices that are grouped together to simplify the sending of text messages to multiple portables and/or locations. Groups can either be pre-set or created ad-hoc and can include group within groups.

Callpoints

An alarm or event received from an external system which when activated will generate an alert that can be customised to suit the site requirements, for example:

Callpoint Groups

Clients

Clients are user applications and/or integration tools which communicate with the ConnexALL Server via TCP/IP, for example;

  • Device Assignments Client (DAC) enables administration and management of devices and callpoints
  • Active Alarm Client (AAC) present live alarm event information on any PC over the network
  • Manual Paging Client (MPC) for manually sending of text messages to any device over the LAN/WAN
  • Web Paging Client (WPC) for manually sending of text messages to any device over the LAN/WAN via a Web Browser

Message Lists

Pre-programmed messages that can be sent from a Manual Paging client and the WEB Paging Client.

Pre-programmed messages that can be sent from a PABX extension.

Schedule Messages

Pre-programmed messages that are sent automatically at a predetermined time, either as a one off message, or on a regular interval

Email In/Out

E-mail In enables e-mail notification to a device and Out enables alarm events to be sent to e-mail address.

Alarm Input Boards

An Alarm Input Board has 32 Opto-isolated physical inputs and communicates to the ConnexALL Server via a Serial Input Client (SIC).

Additional Alarm Input Boards can be easily daisy-chained off one SIC. Inputs can be either:
