March 1, 2021 – Wavelink, a leader in providing enterprise solutions to the channel, has announced an overhaul of its business model with the creation of two distinct business units: distribution and Connected Health. The new approach reflects Wavelink’s dual focus of managing a traditional distribution arm as well as separately assisting partners to sell to enterprise health customers.
Wavelink’s value-added distribution unit will continue to focus on delivering leading technologies, support, marketing, and enablement services to a wide range of channel partners and resellers in security and networking, mobility, and unified communications and applications.
The new Connected Health business unit supports selected qualifying resellers to deliver complex solutions to public and private hospitals in Australia and New Zealand. The Connected Health team assists partners to leverage a range of solutions, which lead to improved outcomes for their customers. Wavelink collaborates with vendors such as Spectralink, Alcatel Lucent Enterprise, Olinqua and SOTI, together with other third-party application partners, to execute project delivery and build solutions such as staff duress, voice and secure text, vital sign monitoring, medication management, critical alert management and equipment location, giving its partners an end-to-end connected health offering to take to market.
Ilan Rubin, CEO, Wavelink, said, “Connected Health provides assurance to partners and customers that Wavelink has the expertise and experience to deliver on a constantly expanding hardware and applications solutions stack. The premise of Connected Health is selling with partners, with Wavelink playing a direct engagement and consultancy role.
“Wavelink is making a clear distinction within the business and has created a dedicated team for each business unit including pre-sales, sales, technical, and marketing. This demonstrates Wavelink’s commitment to partners that it will continue to meet its distribution obligations and its healthcare engagements with the same level of diligence that partners and customers have come to expect in Wavelink’s 20-year history.”
